JOB SUMMARY:
The Flight Test Data Analyst will prepare, install, and remove flight test instrumentation on DFJ (Dassault Falcon Jet) production aircraft. This individual will process flight data analyses and release reports as well as ensure test instrumentation devices are functioning, current and up to date. Process acoustic synthesis reports and maintaining historical databases in coordination with the FTE Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Prepare, install and remove flight test instrumentation from DFJ production aircraft in coordination with Flight Test Engineers.
Execute post-flight data analyses (acoustic and vibration) and release associated technical reports that are subject to check by both the FTE and FTE Manager.
Process acoustic synthesis reports and maintaining historical databases in coordination with the FTE Manager, and implement improvement if necessary.
Maintain and ensure the utilization of calibrated flight operations test instrumentation devices.
Manage the TMDE calibration program for equipment and tools within the FLT OPS Department.
Ensure acoustic stations are up to date with Istres.
Establish and maintain a line of communication with flight test counterparts at Merignac and Istres:
Share data on recurrent issues.
Remain current, knowledge wise, with the latest test instrumentation device(s) used in DEVR Merignac and DEV Istres.
Remain current on criteria requirements for test results.
Participate in managing future Flight Test Instrumentation in coordination with the FTE manager.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations or the Flight Test Engineer Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a B.S. or higher degree in an engineering or technical aeronautical/aerospace discipline. Additionally, years of relevant work experience may be substituted for completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university. 1 year of education 2 years of experience.
Capability of learning aircraft systems.
Possess good technical writing and oral communications skills
Must have the ability to enter and exit the aircraft and to walk about in the cabin with or without reasonable accommodation
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Aeronautics knowledge and/or background
Experience of flight data analyses
Understanding of DA flight test and DFJ Flight Ops processes
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Flight test instrumentation installation, post-flight data analyses and reporting will be conducted in experimental licensed Falcon Jet aircraft on an overtime basis. Weekend and/or holiday work is as required. Travel commensurate with assignment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation for this position typically falls between $59,000 and $78,000 annually. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
