Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Jr. Logistics Specialist to support the METS (Multi-Engine Training System) platform team of PMA-273 (Naval Undergraduate Flight Training Systems Program Office) at Patuxent River NAS. This Jr. Logistics Specialist will provide assistance in direct support of contractual requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provides support to Senior Logistics Manager and correspondingly to the Program Office APML/Deputies and LEMs across the full spectrum of ILS elements.
- Support SMEs for respective organizations, including IMRL, SE, P&P, Tech Data, etc.
- Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
- Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as:
- technical evaluation, identification, and inventory of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources;
- development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans;
- systems acquisition requirements analysis;
- budgetary or financial analysis and control;
- life cycle cost analysis and control;
- weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility;
- Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution;
- ILS/R&M program management analysis
- Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
- Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Interest in logistics support or maintenance, including logistics planning, and willingness to learn Deckplate, Production Status Reporting (PSR), Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), and Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) systems
- Candidate must be a US citizen.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Education and Experience
Other Requirements:
- Excels at Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Good communication skills

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55000 to $60000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
