About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is based remotely in the US. The role will focus on amplifying Wing’s corporate narrative and reputation in logistics, aviation, and regulatory spaces.

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Corporate Communications Specialist to provide counsel on and execute our communications strategy around elevating Wing’s logistics narrative, with an understanding of the aviation media and policy environments. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives, generate media engagement, and protect the companys reputation. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the companys external image, ensuring consistent and effective communication across key stakeholder groups regarding our industry-leading technology.

What You’ll Do:

• Dive deep into Wing’s last-mile logistics narrative, mining compelling stories, and developing approaches to share those stories in innovative, high-impact ways.
• Get familiar with Wing’s regulatory environment and understand the communications levers that can help inform the Wing policy audience in partnership with Wing’s policy and government relations team.
• Develop and maintain relationships with logistics and aviation media and influencers.
• Craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences.
• Manage relationships with the policy team to co-create impactful communications campaigns for Wing and for the drone industry.
• Represent Wing in trade organizations
• Brief/prep executives for media opportunities
• Monitor media coverage and understand the evolving industry and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with agency partners to maximize strategy, messaging and impact.
• Coordinate technology demos to key audiences
• Work closely across the Wing organization to find and share relevant messaging externally.
• Assist in crisis communication planning and execution

What You’ll Need:

• 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, logistics communications, or a related role.
• Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the aviation industry
• Strong organization and planning abilities.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders, including media
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in B2B communications and public speaking
• Proficiency in Google Workspace Suite or similar software.
