Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Specialist - Non-Travel Partnerships will help shape the future of MileagePlus by driving innovative loyalty partnerships, integrated media opportunities, and memorable customer experiences. In this role, you’ll combine partnership management and analytical skills to design, launch, and optimize offers and campaigns that increase member acquisition, engagement, and transactions. The Senior Specialist will collaborate with the Kinective Media and Marketing teams to develop integrated media and loyalty activations, and with cross-functional teams across MileagePlus and United to scale opportunities that deliver measurable value for partners and members alike.
Apply in-depth knowledge of existing and potential MileagePlus partnerships to anticipate partner needs, assess requirements, and deliver innovative solutions.
Compile, analyze, and forecast partner sales performance data; regularly communicate trends, results, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Collaborate with the Kinective Media and Marketing teams to design integrated media and loyalty opportunities that drive new member acquisition, engagement, and transactions that benefit both MileagePlus and its partners.
Identify and collaborate with teams across MileagePlus and United (e.g., Product, Loyalty, Cobrand, Finance, Customer Experience) to create opportunities that scale partner activations and enhance the performance of their offers.
Develop and execute partner sales and marketing plans to create unique customer experiences and campaigns that increase brand awareness and loyalty program value.
Apply an analytical and performance-driven mindset to create, monitor, and optimize partner offers, campaigns, and media placements for maximum effectiveness.
Review historical and current sales, engagement, and campaign data to identify trends, uncover process inefficiencies, and proactively address opportunities.
NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including approximately 50 of the time spent onsite at our Chicago office location and 50 remotely.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of related work experience
Effective partner management and stakeholder communication skills (internal and external)
Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of marketing channels.
Demonstrated analytical ability
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency using PowerPoint, Excel
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without visa sponsorship

The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
