Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Current Aircraft routing, Harness install, harness build-up, Termination/Crimping, and Soldering experience.
Must be able to work in a production environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Production Hangar Avionics F-16 Technician you will be responsible for building electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks. You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area assigned. Will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections on the F-16 production line. This position provides support by installing electrical harnesses and performing operational checks, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems on aircraft components/. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment OHM meters, Crimping, Soldering, general routing tools; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift, will train on first shift, then final shift will be assigned after training
Scheduled Hours:
Mon- Thurs 6am-4:30p. Mon- Thurs 4:30p- 3:00a.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
