Role Summary
* In this role, you must have hands-on experience in aircraft avionics and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and service avionics and electrical equipment on corporate and commercial aircraft while ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements. This position requires attention to detail, technical skill, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
* Must have completed Avionics Electric A/C Technical School or an equivalent substantiated program.
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
* Must have experience on corporate jet aircraft and commercial aircraft.
* Must have the ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
* Must have basic PC skills and the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form regarding individual and aircraft status.
* Must own a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate proper inventory and control of tools. Preferred Skill/Experience
* Airframe Certification, Powerplant Certification, or combined Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred.
* GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate preferred. Job Duties/Functions
* Will adhere to client general work requirements in factory, shop, or hangar positions.
* Will comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and participate in 5-S activities.
* Will perform all assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
* Will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
* Will perform and document work per appropriate manuals, regulations, and customer requirements.
* Will operate ground support equipment as required.
* Will assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
* Will assist other maintenance disciplines and support maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
