We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will fabricate and install basic avionics and electrical systems, assist with complex installation tasks, and perform disassembly and reassembly of aircraft interiors. You will engage in light sheet metal fabrications, wiring harness fabrication and installation, antenna and coax installations, and carry out OHM and power checks. Working primarily on Bell helicopters and Airbus, you will contribute to ensuring the highest standards of avionics installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install basic avionics and electrical systems.
• Assist with complex installation tasks.
• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors to facilitate avionics installation or repairs.
• Complete light sheet metal fabrications as needed.
• Assist with wiring harness maps or mock-ups.
• Fabricate and install wiring harnesses.
• Install antennas and coax cables.
• Perform or assist with OHM and power checks.
• Perform or assist with ground checks.
• Terminate wires.

• Avionics installation and troubleshooting.
• Helicopter avionics experience.
• Standard aircraft wiring practices.
• Light sheet metal fabrication.
• Blueprint and wiring diagram interpretation.
• Understanding of electrical components.
• Proficient in soldering techniques.
• At least 2 years of experience in avionics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
