Helicopter Avionics Tech- Military Program
Must have an Active Secret Clearance
Troubleshoots integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic and electromechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, subassemblies, Alternate Mission Equipment, and test equipment to determine nature of malfunctions and corrective actions required both on and off equipment.
Performs maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems electronic and electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, and their subassemblies for both on and off equipment.
Removes/installs integrated conventional weapons systems electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and subassemblies for both on and off equipment and associated test equipment.
Performs pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of integrated conventional weapon systems electronic components fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and their subassemblies both on and off equipment.
Accomplishes configuration changes of integrated conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies on assigned aircraft and equipment based on mission requirements.
Performs explosive operations, loads and unloads, positions, arms, and safes all assigned conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics on assigned aircraft and or equipment.
Controls tools, cleans work area and equipment and completes work control documents in accordance with established procedures.
Required Experience:
Significant experience military avionics experience desired on any platform. (3-5 years avionics exp)
Microsoft office experience (excel, word, etc.)
Testing, repair, and configuration experience
