Location: Farnborough HQ (Hybrid working can be agreed)
Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per week
The role: With technology heavily integrated into our business, your work will help us maintain the highest standard of service that we’re known for by our customers. You’ll partner with colleagues at all levels of the business, each with differing degrees of technical confidence, so your clear communication, friendly nature and practical problem solving will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st line technical support to end users.
  • Log and categorise incidents and service requests raised by the customers via the IT portal, email and telephone. Ensure progress notes are added to all incidents/service requests.
  • Manage 1st line incidents and requests through to resolution in line with process and SLA .
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service through the life cycle of each ticket; manage user expectations by keeping users informed of progress through to ticket resolution.
  • Escalation to 2nd and 3rd Line to finalise resolution where necessary.
  • Support new starter process (i.e. create new user AD accounts, create 365 accounts, configure mailboxes, distribution groups) and leaver process.
  • Write troubleshooting and training documents based on queries you receive.
  • Carry out software installs and upgrades.
  • Provide out of office hours on call support, on a rota basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
  • Previous experience within a technical helpdesk environment would be beneficial.
  • Excellent all-round IT skills including Windows 10 Operating System and Microsoft Office 365 products e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong emphasis on both verbal and active listening skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, honest and willing to go the extra-mile.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude, possesses patience and self-motivation.
  • Ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to work to a high standard with attention to detail.
