PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Advanced Test Engineer to support a high-visibility project in avionics hardware testing. This onsite role involves DO-160 qualification testing and Validation & Verification of electronic hardware for advanced business aviation products. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience in environmental and EMI testing and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on avionics products
Prepare detailed test reports for regulatory compliance and customer acceptance
Support product certification for FAA and other regulatory bodies
Communicate non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders
Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 4 years of experience in Hardware/Product Engineering
Hands-on experience with Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810 standards
Basic knowledge of electronic display principles and hardware engineering specifications
Experience with Hardware Verification testing and optical instrumentation for display characterization
Ability to apply engineering techniques to optimize product design and performance
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details: $60.00 per day
