Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $74.43-$79.43/Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and high-speed network topologies supporting satellite ground systems.
Administer network infrastructure involving Linux IDM and Windows Servers for DNS and account management.
Configure and maintain Juniper firewalls, Arista switches, and NAS/SAN storage solutions.
Support multicast technologies and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and others.
Perform vulnerability scanning, apply system hardening, and resolve security findings in line with DoD standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive network, systems, and operations documentation.
Utilize VMware vSphere for virtual infrastructure and manage virtual machines.
Support systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience: 4 years in lieu of degree).
8+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ years with a Master’s degree).
Experience with enterprise-level network design and high-speed implementation.
Strong working knowledge of firewalls, switches, storage systems, and server integration.
Familiarity with routing protocols, vulnerability management, and virtualization platforms.
Must be eligible for U.S. Government Security Clearance.
On-site work required in Scottsdale, AZ.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Linux IDM, Windows Server (DNS/Account Management)
Expertise in Juniper, Arista, NAS/SAN, and VMware
Understanding of BGP, OSPF, multicast networking
Documentation and process development experience
Familiarity with Red Hat Linux environments
