Competitive Compensation
- Hourly range is $20.00 to $26.00.

Position Summary
The Water Spider is responsible for maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of materials and supplies on the manufacturing floor. Acting as a key support role in Lean manufacturing environments, the Water Spider ensures that operators and production lines have the necessary materials delivered just-in-time, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Essential Functions
Monitor inventory levels at workstations and replenish stock as needed to maintain continuous production flow.
Deliver materials, parts, tools, and supplies to production operators and workstations in a timely manner.
Collect and return finished goods, empty containers, and scrap materials to designated areas.
Assist in identifying and eliminating waste related to material movement and handling.
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives by maintaining organized and clean work areas following 5S standards.
Communicate effectively with production supervisors and team members to prioritize material delivery and resolve issues.
Operate material handling equipment safely, such as carts, forklifts, or pallet jacks, as required.
Report any equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or process inefficiencies to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and inventory adjustments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology is a plus.
Ability to operate material handling equipment safely (training may be provided).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Forklift Experience a plus
Physically able to move materials and walk or stand for extended periods.
Technical Depth and Breadth:
Basic computer skills.
Able to follow written/verbal instructions and directions.
Learns and maintains required skill and proficiency to successfully accomplish full job responsibilities; willingly takes on new assignments.
Able to work proficiently (at least 3/4 dot on Skills Matrix) in 75 of the cells in the value stream and perform the most complex processes.
May interface with Engineering on new product development.Technical troubleshooting with a high sense of independence.
Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills:
Dependable, prompt and reliable with good overall attendance; present at workstation when required.

Physical and Mental Demands:
Required to sit, stand, bend & reach.
May be required to stand, sit or alternate between sitting and standing for 8+ hours at a time, based on business needs.
Require near vision acuity, color vision, and visual accommodation to see and manipulate small parts at near point for extended periods of time.
Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. Rotate functions in cells as needed.
Frequent lifting or moving of lightweight (<20 lbs.) materials, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment as required, may include safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, and/or any other equipment deemed necessary.
