Join PDS Tech as a Material Handler in Hazelwood, MO!Position SummaryThe Material Handler plays a critical role in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement activities within the warehouse and manufacturing environment. This position directly supports Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and internal stakeholders by ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and in compliance with all quality and regulatory standards.
This role has a meaningful impact on both internal operations and external customers by ensuring timely, accurate material flow and inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and defects.
- Identify materials accurately using part numbers or written descriptions.
- Manually move materials to and from pallets, shelves, storage areas, or workstations.
- Pick, pack, and label customer orders according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Convey materials between storage and designated work areas.
- Count, weigh, and record material movement and production data daily.
- Assemble crates or containers as required and affix identifying tags or labels.
- Process all required paperwork to ensure accurate material transactions.
- Assist in packing and shipping activities, ensuring products meet quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all safety rules, quality procedures, and company standards.
- Work closely with Team Leaders and Associates to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, and FDA guidelines.
- May operate or drive a truck to transfer materials between locations.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and repetitively move up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of applicable experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehousing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong organizational and time?management skills to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Kaizen and 5S principles.
- Ability to work cross?functionally and communicate effectively across teams.
- Approachable, accessible, and open communicator.

Pay Details: $16.89 per hour
