We were meant to fly.As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will primarily be involved in the assembly, installation, and testing of mechanical components and modules. Your responsibilities will include working day and night shifts in the assembly and test department.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Assembly mechanical parts, components, modules, and resolves assembly problems
Install the parts in the test cell, connect the fluidic elements for lubrication etc, connect the relevant instrumentation
Perform tests of the assembled mechanical component, lead by the relevant test engineers
Apply maintenance to equipment
Any other manufacturing processes to meet business requirements
Maintain Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality related and other Compliance requirements in accordance with regulations and GE policies
Qualifications/Requirements
High School technical diploma
Ability to read and work with engineering technical drawings or instructions.
Proficiency in using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers) for tasks like rig test component alignment
Knowledge of fluidic systems and basic instrumentation
Proven ability to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems
High-quality and accurate work output
Fluency in Italian and English
Availability for travel, including outside the EU, and willingness to work shifts in exceptional cases
Work visa in accordance with local regulations
Desired Characteristics
Mechanical labor and machining experience would be beneficial
Ability to multitask, handle varied workloads, work independently, and maintain efficiency and effectiveness
High level of attention to detail is emphasized
Good verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel and handle overtime or short business trips as required by customer demand
