Summary:
Read, comprehend, and follow technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Assemble/install parts, sub-assemblies, and structural components (metal/composite aircraft).
Perform sealing, plumbing system, and electrical component installation.
Use drills, riveters, torque wrenches, crimpers, screwdrivers, ratchet wrenches, and other hand/power tools.
Apply lubricants, sealants, coatings, adhesives, and paints.
Inspect work for quality/FOD; use computers in production environments.
Operate mechanical lifts (scissor lifts, elevated platforms).
Work 100 onsite.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required.
Regular and predictable attendance required.
Ability to access/enter wing fuel tank openings (approx. 18" x 10").
1+ years experience with handheld power tools.
1+ years experience following oral/written instructions.
Willingness to work variable shifts.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Physical Requirements:
Work in confined wing fuel cells for extended periods.
Continuous (6 8 hrs): bending, kneeling, crawling, crouching, climbing/balancing, working on elevated platforms, using high-impact vibratory tools.
Frequent (3 6 hrs): exposure to noise and confined spaces.
Lift/carry/push/pull 10 35 lbs.
Finger manipulation (tools, computer use), reading from screens and drawings.
