We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal / Structures Technician to support aircraft modification and production assembly programs. This role involves planning, layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of internal and external aircraft structures in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
- 8+ years of recent experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal, Structures, or Production Structures/Assembly
- Strong experience with heavy drilling and precision drilling
- Aircraft production and assembly experience required
- Must be able to provide proof of United States Citizenship
- Must possess a valid United States Driver’s License
- Must be able to work any shift
- Position begins on 1st shift for training, then transitions to assigned shift based on program needs
JOB DUTIES
- Perform high-quality structural assembly and modification work in a production environment
- Manage change and adapt to new processes, tools, and techniques
- Work in fracture-critical and damage-tolerant structural areas
- Perform work involving Outside Mold Line (OML) surfaces
- Support in-flight opening door hinge lines and major component mate features
- Work with interchangeable/replaceable hole patterns and edge of part (EOP) requirements
- Follow production build controls and engineering documentation
