Role Summary
* In this role, you must have a basic foundation in mechanical and electrical methods, along with the drive to learn and grow. You will do hands-on assembly, wiring, and testing of avionics products while using tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and adhesives to build, repair, and install components. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a high school diploma or GED.
* Must have a minimum of 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical methods with eagerness to learn.
* Must have hands-on skills using tools, machines, wiring, adhesives, and hardware.
* Must have adaptability, flexibility, and a strong willingness to grow in the role. Job Duties/Functions
* Will perform machine set-up, wiring, assembly, and electrical checks.
* Will assemble, repair, modify, and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
* Will prepare test articles, fixtures, and devices for data collection.
* Will carry out both electrical tasks (wire stripping, harnesses, re-pinning, and torquing) and mechanical tasks (drilling, bracket installation, and hardware).
* Will safely use drills, torque wrenches, adhesives, and related hand/power tools. Physical Requirements
* Must wear safety glasses; masks may be required depending on the work area.
* Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
* Must qualify for fall protection harness use (350 lbs. max weight with tools).
* Will have the opportunity to obtain crane certification post-hire (not required to start).
