JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector - DEFENSE

Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Inspect mechanical and electrical hardware to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Determine hardware acceptance and complete nonconformance reports, inspection tags, and related documentation
Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, light lifting, and bending
Interface with customer representatives (Navy On-Site Team and/or DCMA) during product sell-off and acceptance
Support process compliance throughout production as part of the Product Quality Team to ensure delivery of conforming hardware
Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and complex wiring diagrams
1 2 years of hands-on inspection experience or 3 5 years of experience building/assembling mechanical and/or electrical products
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (not required to start)
Proficiency with Solumina and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills
IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD-001 certification
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience presenting products for customer inspection
Background in production or assembly environments, working closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
