Job title: Skilled Assembler

Location & Hours: Redditch – 37 hours per week
As a Skilled Assembler at Honeywell, in Redditch, where you will be responsible for assembling, testing and inspecting products to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. Products are for the defence and space industry and are at the cutting edge of technology. This is a site-based role, 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- To assemble, test and/or inspect components, assemblies or products as required to ensure compliance to drawing or other specification requirements as defined by production layout.
- Work to technical drawings
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, and support Honeywell Operating System
- Comply with all safety rules, record and report production data
- Set up and changeover of equipment
Qualifications
Key skills and qualifications:
- Solid understanding of engineering principles
- Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity
- Basic computer skills
- Hold a Level 2 qualification within Engineering, Mechanics or Manufacturing OR equivalent skilled industry experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry
