Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Structural Technician to join our team. This role involves contributing to the development of employees and techniques and completing work in innovative and effective ways. You will be responsible for the assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures while ensuring all work meets stringent requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, including varied drilling and riveting operations.
- Ensure parts and assemblies meet quality requirements.
- Use complicated schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment, or fabricated items on aircraft safely.
- Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality specifications.
- Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all necessary tools, such as portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, and rivets.
- Remove fasteners without damaging structures.
Essential Skills- 6+ years of structural experience.
- 2-4 years within aerospace.
- Experience with blueprints or schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Corporate or military experience is a plus.

Work Environment
Work on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM in a climate-controlled environment. All necessary tools are provided to support your tasks.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19/hr.
