The Digital Technology Site Leader (DTSL) for the Avio Aero Prague Site serves as the primary bridge between Business Site Operations and the broader Digital Technology (DT) organization. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact for all DT related topics, represent DT within the Site Leadership Team and actively participate to Site operating rhythms (Staff Meetings, PCC, Kaizen, Genba, etc.). Essential Responsibilities
As an Digital Technology Site Leader (DTSL) for Avio Aero Prague, you will be responsible for:
Operational excellence and Business Continuity: Ensure Site technology issues and needs are promptly captured, prioritized, and resolved. Closely collaborate with End User Support, Cybersecurity team, Infrastructure & Network and Product teams to rapidly resolve incidents, protect SQDC, drive deployment and adoption of technology solutions. Proactively manage site-level risk, resilience, and continuity plans; escalate and drive resolution of critical incidents to minimize downtime business disruption
Compliance adherence: Demonstrate clear accountability for safe, reliable and compliant Operations at the Site. Ensure adherence to DT policies, cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Support and prepare for audits and assessments, closing identified gaps and sustaining a strong compliance posture.
Technology strategy alignment: Partner with the Site Leader to execute the Digital strategy and roadmap in alignment with Avio Aero and GE Aerospace priorities and business goals. Advocate for site-specific needs and partner with DT HQ and product owners to prioritize high-impact initiatives and keep the strategy aligned. Ensure Site execution remains aligned to the evolving global DT strategy, architecture, and standards.
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate across DT functions and business areas to drive successful deployment and adoption of digital solutions. Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to deepen technical understanding to improve the quality and speed of support.
Process adherence and standardization: Develop a solid understanding of critical Site business processes and how they are enabled by DT solutions. Partner with Product teams to identify process and solution gaps, and implement standard solutions that improve quality, delivery and efficiency. Develop deep knowledge of DT processes and drive their adoption across business functions. Collaborate with other DTSLs to align on standard and implement consistent processes, tools, and methodologies across Sites ensuring DT cross-Site process standardization.
Technology Adoption and change management: Drive the change and communication plan to support adoption and sustained use of digital solutions. Coordinate training, awareness and support activities to embed new ways of working. Collect user feedback to inform Product teams and support continuous improvement. Provide regular status, risk, and benefit realization updates to Product teams and Site leadership.
Project Management: Lead and coordinate DT project execution at the Site, managing scope, schedule, resources, and outcomes. Own the Site IT budget (centrally and/or locally billed) ensuring cost discipline, transparency, and clear value delivery. Act as the local leader for global DT implementations, ensuring readiness, execution quality, and effective stabilization.
Talent coaching and development (role without direct reports): Coach and mentor Site DT resources to build skills, elevate performance, and align work to organizational goals. Partner with solid-line managers to support career development and engagement. Foster a spirit of collaboration and teamwork within the Site.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
Demonstrated Customer orientation, problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset; proven ability to deliver results in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Experience in implementing and supporting current information technologies in Business Operations. Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Clear and effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align diverse teams.
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
Desired characteristics
ITIL certification.
Experience with Agile/Scrum; familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma tools for process improvement and change management.
Strong analytical skills and problem resolution capabilities
Experience in manufacturing environments, shop floor systems.
Exposure to cybersecurity, networking, and end-user services management.
