We’re hiring a Food Safety & Quality Manager who wants to own food safety end‑to‑end, influence operations daily, and be the final decision‑maker when it comes to protecting consumers, customers, and the business. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all food safety and quality management systems meet or exceed regulatory, customer, and company standards. You will oversee the implementation, auditing, assessment, and training of quality systems at our Customer Service Center (CSC), ensuring we deliver only the finest, safest products to our airline customers. Food Safety Leadership • Own and enforce HACCP and FSMA Preventive Controls programs • Serve as the site Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) • Ensure full compliance with: ○ FDA & USDA regulations ○ FSMA ○ cGMPs ○ Customer food safety requirements • Lead investigations into: ○ Food safety deviations ○ Environmental findings ○ Alleged foodborne illness complaintsAudit Readiness & Regulatory Confidence • Prepare and lead unannounced audits and inspections • Act as the primary site lead for: ○ FDA / USDA inspections ○ Customer audits ○ Third‑party audits (SQF, BRC, IFS experience strongly preferred) • Drive corrective actions through completion and verification, not just documentationQuality Systems & Verification • Oversee environmental monitoring and microbiological testing programs • Review and trend: ○ Swab results ○ Finished product testing ○ Sanitation verification data • Conduct routine and spot checks on the production floor • Ensure customer and internal quality standards are consistently met
