• Content Development: Create high-quality, original content for a variety of platforms, including social media, case studies, feature stories, newsletters, fact sheets, and internal communications.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams—including spaneting, communications, business leaders and subject matter experts—to gather insights and develop accurate, on-brand content. Provide support for internal communications as required.
• Storytelling: Craft narratives that highlight our companys portfolio and mission impact, share success stories, and strengthen our connection with our diverse audiences.
• Editing & Proofreading: Ensure all content is clear, error-free, and aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Content Strategy: Partner with strategy teams and business leaders to understand goals and objectives, contributing to content planning and strategy sessions, bringing fresh ideas and creative approaches to meet business objectives.
• Analytics & Optimization: Monitor content performance, develop metrics for success, and suggest improvements based on engagement metrics and feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience: 7+ years in content creation, journalism, spaneting, or communications—preferably in a B2B or government contracting environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in spaneting, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.

• Ability to write creative copy for a range of topics and content types.
• Ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences and formats.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Must be proactive and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with content management systems, email spaneting tools, and social media platforms is a plus.
• Experience with SEO and analytics tools is a plus.
• This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Herndon, VA.
