Drive adherence to plan via Production Schedulers (direct reports) and ensure Repair plans support Engines Overhaul plans
Monitor labour hours & proactively identify opportunities for improvements
Support development of digital planning tools
Work alongside the Operations Leaders and Repair Engineers for FTY improvement projects
Proactively identify opportunities for labour-flexing across repair shops / site, ensuring that production plans are always met whilst labour capacity is always fully utilized
Use information provided by Site Data Analyst and Production
Schedulers to optimize repair plans, minimizing cost and TAT.
Work with CRW Operations leaders on training plans, productivity and utilization
Co-ordinate the 4 repair stream strategies
Work with the Site Data Analyst / SIOP leader on headcount requirements
Monitor labour hour booking practices to ensure accurate reporting
Work with wider planning team on short/long term business planning; labour and tooling capacity
Coach and mentor direct reports
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university of college, or equivalent knowledge and experience
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Effective problem-solving skills
Must work well under pressure with the ability to make logical decisions in short timeframes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experienced user of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
Knowledge of Lean principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal & leadership skills
Works well with teams and individual at all levels of the business
