Regional Manager

Job Description:

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the stations in their particular region. They must ensure that these stations are being operated at their greatest potential for customer service, efficiency and profitability

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage station managers and other supervisory staff in all cities in their region
Oversee planning and execution of process and procedures
Lead station managers in staffing model applications and be responsible for monthly and annual station payroll budgets
Maintain and enhance the Cape Air safety culture in all Airport Services Gate and Ramp operations in their region
Assist in loss prevention/corporate security
Ensure compliance with all security directives at station
Assist in creating policies and procedures for stations and coordinate their incorporation into simplified company manuals and training programs. Also coordinate with policy committee on corporate policy issues which affect Airport Services
Oversee Cape Air service contracted to other carriers in the region
Oversee contract services from other vendors to Cape Air
Establish and maintain relationships with all airport authorities
Establish and maintain relationships with various governmental agencies
Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous aviation management experience required
Excellent communication skills
Experience with budgeting requires
Experience in building and maintaining airport regulatory relationships, requires
Ability to enforce policy and procedure, requires
Must be able and willing to do short and long haul travel and work non-standard hours especially during special events
Must demonstrate an understanding of the connection between overall mission and daily tasks
Must be a proficient writer have an adequate grasp of English grammar
Excellent communication and excellent customer service skills required
Ability to interact effectively with others
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Office and Excel
Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Must exhibit exceptional knowledge of Cape Air and must embody the Cape Air MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit
