Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to join the St. Louis Delivery Center operations located in Berkeley, MO!

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing and flight operations environment
- 5+ years of experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or union-represented workforce
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
- 1+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- DCMA engagement experience
- Leadership experience in aircraft manufacturing operations
- Experience in leading large scale / organizational change
- Excellent people skills (coaching / teaching / integrating functions towards a common goal)
- Boeing Problem Solving Model Experience
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Summary pay range: $124,950 – 169,050 USD
