Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (DAS) is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to join our team of professionals. DAS offers digital solutions across Flight Operations and Flight Deck operations, saving customers time, money, and resources across the entire airline ecosystem. These software and data analytics powered solutions help customers navigate and operate more efficiently, reduce fuel consumption, optimize crew utilization, minimize disruption impact and increase asset availability.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Airline Operations (including Network & Fleet Planning and Management, Crew Planning & Management) to address customer needs and drive account growth through DAS solutions. You will analyze aviation customer challenges and business processes to recommend appropriate solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Provide technical consulting and support to pre-sales engagements.
- Lead solution consulting studies, collaborating with clients to further enhance Jeppesen Crew and Network Operations management deliverables.
- Analyse customer processes to recommended improvements.
- Guide major program completion and may take on project leadership roles.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Jeppesen solutions for projects and engagements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in the airline / aviation industry.
- Hands-on experience with Airlines Network Management or Crew Management products is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving and strong analytical abilities.
- Active listening skills to fully understand client problem
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in logical thinking, rule-based programming, and Python is advantageous.
- Knowledge of commercial airline network management and crew planning processes is essential.
- Understanding of network planning, tail assignment, ops control, crew pairing, and rostering is a plus.
- Excellent proposal preparation and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify customer pain points and propose valuable solutions.
- Frequent travel may be required.
