THAAD Project Manager
Job Description:

The successful candidate will function as a THAAD Project Manager out of Huntsville, AL., overseeing the UAE and Foundation support contracts. You will be directly managing all project personnel, both CONUS and OCONUS. This includes periodic site visits and day-to-day supervision. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and lead efforts to achieve company goals. The Project Manager will participate and lead stakeholder meetings with customers and internal staff. The Project Manager will enforce safety guidelines and company policies, oversee onboarding and job-specific training, and ensure policy implementation and compliance across projects. The candidate will report to the Senior Program Manager and is responsible for tracking performance, preparing regular status reports, maintaining thorough documentation, and collaborating with HR for staffing while advancing continuous improvement through risk management, clear communication, and strong engagement with personnel and customers.


Responsibilities

  • Directly manage all project personnel (including CONUS and OCONUS staff).
  • Oversee project financials, including working with a Project Controller.
  • Conduct periodic site visits as needed ensuring quality, safety, and policy compliance.
  • Lead and participate in stakeholder meetings with customers and internal staff; prepare agendas, capture action items, and ensure timely follow-up’s.
  • Enforce safety guidelines, quality standards, and company policies across all project activities.
  • Support the customers training programs through collaboration with our program partners to ensure highly trained and competent service members.
  • Understand the customers expectations and perceptions to provide the best support possible, focusing on mission, values, and goals.
  • Oversee onboarding and job-specific training, maintaining training plans, checklists, and documentation.
  • Ensure policy implementation and compliance across projects; conduct audits and remedial actions as necessary.
  • Track performance against objectives, prepare regular status reports, and maintain thorough project documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through risk management, proactive issues risk management, proactive issue resolution, and clear, proactive communication with employees and customers.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in direct project management, or combined experience in project management plus. project analysis and/or project controller.
  • Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance level or higher.
  • Must meet deployment standards as set forth in, but not limited to, DoD Instruction 3020.41, Operational Contract Support.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel.
  • Must pass a background check to include criminal and credit.
