OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and maintain designated machines according to work instructions and standard procedures
- Follow detailed method documents to produce and inspect parts to specification
- Inspect parts for quality, cleanliness, and accuracy, including deburring when required
- Accurately document non-conforming materials and support corrective action efforts
- Perform basic mechanical assembly and support automated testing processes
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Operate inspection and measurement equipment as needed
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure equipment is in proper condition
- Support aircraft component assembly and general production tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and quality goals
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of production, manufacturing, or assembly experience
- Basic understanding of machining or mechanical processes
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working under supervision in a structured environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Experience using hand and power tools
Preferred Qualifications- Mechanical assembly experience
- Exposure to manufacturing, machining, or automated testing environments
- Experience in aerospace or aircraft component assembly
- Previous work in a large-scale production or industrial setting

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a large, clean manufacturing facility and involves machining, assembly, and production operations. The role requires extended standing, use of tools and machinery, and handling materials in a structured, safety-focused environment that emphasizes quality and continuous improvement.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
