Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team in a metal production facility where you will work on CNC lathes and mills, specifically utilizing Okuma, Haas, or similar machines. You will be responsible for setting up and changing over machines, typically 2-3 times a day. Quality assurance is key, as you will need to check pieces using micrometers and calipers, as well as utilize blueprints and drawings. Additionally, you will document all finished products in a written log and maintain a clean work area before and after your shift.
Responsibilities
- Set up and change over CNC machines, typically 2-3 times a day.
- Operate CNC lathes and mills, specifically Okuma, Haas, or similar.
- Check quality of pieces using micrometers and calipers.
- Utilize blueprints and drawings for accurate production.
- Document all finished products in a written log.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area before and after the shift.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of CNC experience on both lathes and mills.
- Experience on Okuma, Haas, or similar machines.
- Proficiency with blueprints, micrometers, and calipers (manual experience required).
- Experience with machine setup or changeover (2-3 per day).
- Understanding of GD&T symbols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with G&M codes.
- Programming experience.
- Experience with Doosan machines.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Manual machining experience.

Work Environment
Work in a metal manufacturing setting, comfortable with a high-volume, production-based shop. Choose between two shifts: 1st shift from 6am-4pm or 2nd shift from 4pm-12:30am. Youll be part of a team consisting of approximately 10-12 members, depending on the line. Dress code includes steel-toed boots and jeans, with ear protection provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
