Manufacturing Operator - Vest

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing assemblies according to work instructions , drawings, and Standard Practice. The operator will assemble the parts utilizing single needle, double needle, and task specific machines. The Operator will perform all duties outlined in the basic training checklist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•tAbility to read drawings and follow written instructions, including manuals, standard practice and work instructions.
•tStamp, serialize and date stamp vital information (part number, date of vest manufacture, & serial number).
•tReference tools included on the job training and prints
•tAbility to learn how to run various machines used in the production of vests, including vacuum pack machine, index/test machine, sewing machines, heat seal machines and any other equipment used in the vest process.
•tAbility to fold and pack vests.
•tAbility to complete very detailed paperwork accurately and quickly.
•tMust have good communication skills
•tMust work in a safe manner, maintaining a well-kept work area.
