Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Includes Manufacturing Engineers.
- Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
- Implement Lean (FLIGHT DECK) principles, including Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri, to drive process improvements and eliminate waste.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Manage and develop a team of manufacturing professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Promote a safe and inclusive work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and execute plans to optimize capacity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Analyze operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to address issues and drive results.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Partner with Quality teams to maintain high product standards and resolve quality issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of experience in Manufacturing Leadership, Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Leadership, Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management.
Desired Characteristics
- Familiarity with Aerospace manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong experience leading and coaching technical teams.
- Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC).
- Proficiency in structured problem-solving methods, such as the 4-step Problem Solving Framework (Define, Analyze, Countermeasure, Sustain), APPS (At Point Problem Solving).
- Experience in managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Commitment to driving continuous improvement and adapting team processes to ensure outcomes.
- Willingness to teach and share knowledge, including conducting training and coaching sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with respect, inclusivity, and transparency, fostering a collaborative team environment.

The base pay range for this position is $111,700 - $135,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 31, 2025.
