Job Title: Groundskeeper/Maintenance SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper/Maintenance Specialist responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas surrounding four buildings in the North Cargo area at SEATAC Airport. This role involves landscaping tasks such as tending to bushes, small trees, and grass, as well as picking up trash in parking lots and performing basic repairs and painting on building exteriors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the outdoor areas around four buildings in the North Cargo area at SEATAC Airport.
- Perform landscaping tasks including care of bushes, small trees, and grass.
- Pick up trash in parking lots and ensure cleanliness.
- Conduct basic repairs and painting on exteriors of buildings.
- Utilize a powered work cart to transport tools and supplies.
- Report to the office in the main building and consult daily and weekly checklists.
- Work collaboratively with the onsite operations manager.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of experience in landscaping or groundskeeping.
- Proficiency in using tools for basic home or building repair, or construction.
- Eligibility for a SIDA badge (Port of Seattle check, compliant IDs).
- Valid Drivers License.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs to the main office and spend most of the shift standing or walking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and custodial tasks.
- Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance tools effectively.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $47840.00/yr.
Benefits not provided, hence the 2/hr extra on regular hours to offset the cost to the employee
