Boeing Global Services is seeking an Experienced Battery Repair Technician to join and support our team in Davie, FL.
Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
The selected candidate will be required to work 100 onsite at above mentioned location.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations
Assemble and test battery and electrical equipment in accordance with all relevant and applicable technical data and publications
Follow all policies and procedures, and all safety rules and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to work in a team environment (and interact effectively with team members from non-technical disciplines)
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanical and/or electrical experience
Ability to read and understand complex technical publication and diagrams/blueprints
SAP knowledge
Lean production/Six Sigma knowledge or experience
Troubleshooting experience
Calibration experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.).
FAA Safety Sensitive:
This position involves safety-sensitive duties and, therefore, is subject to FAA-mandated drug and alcohol testing. This includes pre-employment testing and unannounced random testing while performing duties. Employees in safety-sensitive functions must adhere to all FAA and DOT regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing.

Salary Pay Range: $53,550 - $72,450
