Roles and Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings using company sponsored CAD systems
• Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
• Understand Design Change documentation and requirements and execute changes.
• Define dimensional constraints and geometric tolerances required for proper clearances and fits while maximizing manufacturing capabilities.
• Learn to perform basic stack-ups.
• Understand input from the different engineering disciplines.
• Concurrently work on multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring schedule requirements are met.
• Identify process and product improvements.
• Self-check of work.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
• Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position
• Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English on any topic with few mistakes (mistakes that do not affect clear understanding).
• Sound understanding of design principles relevant to function (GD&T, CAD).
• Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate across functions.
