- Evaluation, testing, monitoring and reporting of key process parameters
- Furnace processing
- In-line degassing
- Grain refinement
- Hydrogen content
- Raw material evaluations
- Development of casting practices and technology
- Metal distribution
- Level control
- Moulds
- Casting water control
- Casting practices
- Ingot inspection
- Organising and co-ordinating instrument / machine maintenance, service visits and associated contracts
- Purchase and control of departmental consumables
- Reporting of performance/results
You have: (required)
- Degree in related science / engineering subject.

The location also has good transport links to the M42/M6 motorway and Lea Hall train station is a 10-minute walk offering regular trains to Birmingham City Centre.
