Job Title: Aircraft Paint Prep
Job Description
We are seeking experienced aircraft painters to join our team at a facility located at Melbourne airport. This role involves supporting painting efforts on corporate jets, with a focus on adhering to FAA standards. Candidates should have experience in paint prep and painting, particularly in the corporate jets, automotive, aerospace, or yacht sectors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces, ensuring quality and precision.
- Ensure compliance with FAA paint weight requirements.
- Utilize HVLP spray, cup spray guns, and epoxy for painting tasks.
- Perform sanding, buffing, and deburring activities.
- Conduct inspection and quality checks on completed work.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in paint prep and painting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70000.00/yr.
Will be paid hourly/OT at time and a half. Will work OT. Can be sent to other sites to help (voluntary) with all expenses paid in the US/France/Dubai.
