Schedule: Monday–Friday; 1st Shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) + OT as needed
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
About the RolePDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Painter to join our partner, a leader in the aerospace industry. This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, safety, and quality are top priorities. As a Painter, you will play an important role in ensuring high-quality finishes for aerospace components used in commercial and military applications.
What You’ll DoOperate painting tools, spray booths, ventilation systems, and measuring devices with minimal supervision.
Perform painting operations for military, commercial, and dry film parts following NADCAP standards.
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and work instructions.
Apply masking, powder coating, and inspection techniques to meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
Conduct inventory checks and ensure materials are stocked for operations.
Take part in continuous improvement activities and contribute to workplace safety.
Provide support for overtime shifts when necessary.
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
0–1 years of experience in a paint shop or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings (with guidance).
Basic mechanical knowledge, shop math, and computer skills.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Commitment to safety practices and quality standards.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience with masking, powder coating, or industrial painting processes.
Familiarity with NADCAP operations.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
